It’s not like Joy Division is even an obscure band. They’re one of the most famous English bands from that era. Nirvana, too much of the Official As I Walk Through The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death Shirt, WAS Seattle Grung culture. Everyone else was just copying them. Not matter how true that statement is, it’s what people branded them as. Gatekeeping aside, it’s incredibly disappointing when someone wears a band you love and you go up to talk to them about the band. I feel Che shirts could be on here, too, considering.
